Studio 2011 Reset window layout does not help for "Object reference not set to instance of object"

When I try to save a target translation, I get the the message: "Failed to save target object. Object reference not set to an instance of an object'
I 'Reset Window Layout' but this does not help, the same message appears when I try to save target again.
