Trados Studio 2011.
When I want to save my target document as a word-doc, I get the following error message:
w:root on rule 1 does not match with w:p rule 2169 position 9.
What is the cause and how could this be solved?

Run QA Checker
Sep 2, 2014
Hi! You might have to check the tags via QA Checker to make sure you did not change any segment. Once you check all tags are OK, try saving the document again. If that does not work, you can: 1. save the changes in the file, 2. make sure your TM has all the new segments, 3. close Trados, 4. open Trados, 5. open the original file again, 6. select your TM, 7. Retrieve translation units one by one and confirm them.

This process might take 5-10 minutes and basically consists of retrieving the translated units from your TM. At the end you should have no problems.
Always make sure about errors or missing information in translation units otherwise you won´t be able to save as target.

Problem solved!
Sep 3, 2014
Thank you guys, for your help.
In the meanwhile the problem has been solved. It had to do with the index table. I made a copy of the original word-doc, opened it in Studio and made the translation again (which went fluently with the TM).
