Dear All,

I extracted target files for some corrupt source files yesterday for a colleague. After this extraction, I started to face an unknown problem with my Studio 2009. Every now and then Trados freezes forbidding me from writing anything or doing any action except closing and exit!!!!

Dear All,

I extracted target files for some corrupt source files yesterday for a colleague. After this extraction, I started to face an unknown problem with my Studio 2009. Every now and then Trados freezes forbidding me from writing anything or doing any action except closing and exit!!!!

The error message that it gives whenever I try to insert the translation in any string is "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt."

At first this happened on long intervals but now all strings are locked and don't allow me to insert any translations or amendment.

If anyone faced a similar problem and was able to solve it, I'd be very thankful for advising me of the solution.
