Hey guys, i am a bit new to trados and everything seems really complicated. My Main goals would be to translate from Finnish to English and vice versa. What TM's should i use as a beginner to get started?

If you look at the quick tour around Studio and translate a single document you should get a good idea on how to use the software.
If you do not have any translation memory you could: 1) Create one using your old translations - so if you have already translated documents in electronic format you can use alignment to create a TM. There is a video on Alignment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5ik0lOk37Y
2) Create a blank TM and as you start translating you create your first TM - this will grow quite quickly and of course the more you translate the more it grows
3) You could connect to free machine translation - BeGlobal Community - this might help you translate faster. Ie you use machine translation, edit the result ... store in the TM. I am not sure of the quality of the machine translation English - > Finnish - but it could be worth a try.
You could also ask around for TMs - but ideally the TM should be relevant to what you are translating - hence the best way is use past translation to start with ... or really building your own.
