Dear all,
I am translating SDL Edit documents with TagEditor.
The problem I have, is that TagEditor does not seem to recognize a 100% match and proposes it as if it were a new translation. However, in Workbench it says "different target in TM. Use "Get" to update... etc." When I do this, I get my 100% match!
It is very annoying, because my texts contain plenty of 100% matches, which I all need to "Get" by using Alt-Shift-Insert, while it should do this automatically when I use "Translate to fuzzy".
Does anyone have an idea what may cause this problem and how to solve it?
Thanks for your help!

That will generally resolve the "not recognizing 100% matches" issue (for the time being). | | | | farolingo Local time: 18:55 alemán al inglés + ... |
Hi. The only time I've seen Workbench do this is if you are using the wrong TM with TagEditor.
For example, in the past, I have started translating a file with the correct TM. Say I then want to work on a different file, I have closed that TM and opened a new one to work on the new file. If you then go back to the old file, but forget to open the right TM that you were using for that file, Workbench will use the last TM that was open. In this case, pre-translated segments in TagEditor that should be 100% matches will be identified as 'different in the TM...'
However, if you're sure you're using the right TM, I'm not sure what the problem is. | | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » | | | | X Sign in to your ProZ.com account... | | | | |
