Mine is something like 40. I also have a "salary" of USD 1750/month - ROTFL

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It's certainly getting to the point where having a profile on this site is proving to be nothing but bad advertising if staff cannot control use of our data. I'd like to see this dealt with swiftly please.

They stole my info, my photo, my everything that's available on ProZ.com. And no, not even 171 rating impresses me. And, I had no idea that I was an interpreter until I visited their site. They're probably happy with all the "visits" to their site, not caring that these come from people whose names they had stolen.

Thank you, Thomas, for providing the links. I will most definitely use them...right now. These imprudent thieves must be stopped.

My rating (spelt correctly in my case) is only 436, I apparently charge 7USD/1800 characters and make $600 per year. Perhaps I should show this information to the taxman

Thanks Thomas for these links.

However, I would expect ProZ to do something about this, at least to inform us! This is not acceptable for paying members and I am seriously considering to cancel my ProZ subscription and demand my money back for the time and effort I need to put into this sh*** right now.

We should all individually contact ProZ site staff to drown them in angry e-mails so that they DO something.

I could imagine other ways to spend my Sunday.

Thank you all for pointing this out and doing the job of the site staff for them.

That's not very much. At least they've "granted" me 1.750 USD/month, even though I only charge 12 USD/1800 characters.

Seems to me that they're Eastern European Scammer because their main language is in Cyrillic.

Our profiles in ProZ are public unless defined otherwise, so all insinuations against ProZ are unsubstantiated, to put it mildly.

do anything to prevent this kind of data theft from its site? If it keeps happening, then we will have no other option than cancel the membership and delete the profile...

I deleted all my profile data or made a mess of them as soon as I became aware of this scammer and gave an email address which is not working any more.

I do not know whether they update anything, but if they do so, they shall have fun and games.
