...in a household of three other adults, two of whom are starting university-level studies this year. Free time? Leisure? Vacaaaaation? Huh? What's that...yeah, I vaguely recall that kind of thing, a long time ago.

I'm the main breadwinner, but my cat Garabato never touches bread and I seldom eat bread. Why don't we have better English words instead of breadwinner? It's so archaic, demodé, passé, a word so stale and crusty and rancid as last night's toast. | | |

As it just so happens, we have that same idiom in Portuguese (Brazilian), too. I kind of like it (if you take the bread-for-the-soul approach, that is). | |
