I am hearing typing voices when I type in memoq.
What causes this?
The sounds look like smartphone touching sounds (click sounds)

Can anyone suggest how to stop this?

Thanks in advance,

Regards,
M. Ali

Zen Dec 19, 2014

The "Zen" button on one of the top bars controls the sounds. Click Mostly Silent to turn them off.

Zen button doesn't solve issue of Memoq noises Apr 2, 2016

Hi,

Just reviving this thread as I have the same problem and the Zen button doesn't solve it. The two drop down options are 'Zen" - which plays the drone kind of noise and "Mostly Silent" - which isn't mostly silent at all becasue I still get the key clicking sounds.

It's very annoying and has only started with the newer version of MemoQ

The only option just now is to turn my speakers off

Thanks

It can now be switched on or off under the memoQ menu (under Options).

Can you please tell where in Options to find it? May 19, 2016

Hi Michael,

Can you please tell where to look for that under Options? I have checked the menu but still don't know how to turn it off... And turning Zen off (or using Mostly silent) doesn't work in my case either...

Thanks!

You just have to click again on Go Zen. I was going mad with this so I looked it up in the Help button (SOS!), I clicked again and now I have "Mostly silent" disabled and every sound is off.

Hope this helps
