Creare TM da file excel.

Salve a tutti,
avrei bisogno di creare una TM con Trados da un file Excel già esistente.
Nel caso fosse possibile, sapreste indicarmi la procedura da eseguire?

puoi creare un termbase Jul 30, 2014

con Multiterm, dovrebbe esserci un'applicazione gratuita sul sito di sdl. Mi pare si chiami Glossary Convert. Puoi creare i database per multiterm con qualsiasi file excel.
Per creare una tm invece credo tu debba allineare i file, il source e il target. Per i file word funziona ad es. con il vecchio WinAlign.

Grazie Linda,
il fatto è che devo creare una TM da un file Excel che devo inviare ad un cliente.
Il file è già tradotto su Trados 2011...devo solo creare la TM e inviarla.

ma hai tradotto con un Cat tool? Jul 30, 2014

in quel caso puoi aggiornare la memoria direttamente mentre traduci. O hai tradotto direttamente in excel?

se hai tradotto in trados 2011 devi solo usare il comando CTRL + ENTER o la matitina verde per aggiornare la memoria man mano che traduci, oppure c'è la funzione "populate tm"

Grazie Linda per la disponibilità
sull' EDITOR del progetto mi segnala tutti i segmenti come se fossero presenti nella TM.
Quando vado ad aprire la TM però non sono presenti tutti i segmenti ma solo una parte.
Il fatto è che io dovrei inviare questa TM (con tutti i segmenti) al cliente ma data la mia scarsa conoscenza di Trados non riesco ovviamente a risolvere il problema.

Crea una nuova TM e importa i file tradotti Jul 31, 2014

Per tagliare la testa al toro, puoi creare una TM nuova nella scheda "Translation Memories" ("File"-"New"-"Translation Memory"). Fai attenzione soltanto a impostare esattamente le stesse lingue dei file che hai tradotto (ad es. EN-US non è compatibile con EN-GB).
Dopodiché importa i file che hai tradotto. Per far ciò seleziona la TM che hai creato nel riquadro delle TM, fai clic sopra con il tasto destro del mouse e scegli "Import". A questo punto seleziona i file sdlxliff che hai trad... See more

Dopodiché importa i file che hai tradotto. Per far ciò seleziona la TM che hai creato nel riquadro delle TM, fai clic sopra con il tasto destro del mouse e scegli "Import". A questo punto seleziona i file sdlxliff che hai tradotto (vai a cercarli nella cartella del progetto Studio) e importali. Se non hai confermato tutti i segmenti, devi selezionare anche la casella di controllo "Draft" relativa al "confirmation level" per inserire in TM anche i segmenti non confermati.
La TM conterrà tutti i segmenti tradotti. ▲ Collapse
