Being a relative novice to interpreting, I have noticed that I'm having problems being able to recall words and produce them in my second language (Japanese) within the time constraints of the situation. This doesn't happen going from my native language to my second language, which I guess isn't surprising. I generally use the "word shadowing," a method for interpreting and stage drama practice. Shadowing is not a vital method for interpreting training, but your neural development is achieved for memory retrieval of new terminology etc.
