How about sending out some personal invitations? And if the radius is increased to include some nearby cities (e.g., Chengdu), the potential interested parties might be even more. Basically, long story short, I recommend sending out invitation emails to translators based in that city. Perhaps the organizers can take the initiative to send out such emails? In my understanding, I don't think that violates any Proz rules. Another suggestion is to create a formal event link for a Powwow. You might be surprised at who turns up. | | |
