XTM Terminology export produces .serv files

I need to export my terminology (and my TM for that matter) from XTM-Cloud. While there seems to be easy enough exporting tools in both areas, all I get (no matter what file format I select - XLS, XLSX, etc.) the actually downloaded files are all .serv files and there is no way to access these or actually have my Terminology.

Does anyone have this problem as well and possibly a solution? I am working on Apple Mac OS X 10.7.5
